03/01/2010Since Maycreate was first founded the agency has represented and supported a number of clients who serve the “greater good.” The company has given generously of its time and talents to many organizations.
One of those clients is the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga. The Community Foundation makes it possible for every citizen or resident to affect the greater good of a city or region. We were recently honored when some of our work for them was selected to be included in this one-of-a-kind publication, Design For The Greater Good.
The foreword in the book cited great design as being especially crucial to cause-related marketing because media budgets behind the campaigns are so small. The book presents a unique showcase of campaigns and work that truly stand out.

It’s official! Maycreate came away with the lion share of ADDY Awards this past Saturday night. The agency had a total of seven golds, eight silvers and the Best of Show. This far exceeded last year’s total of 10.
It was an overwhelming victory for all who produced the work and attended the event. The ADDY Best of Show was won for the campaign entitled, What Is Art To Me? Created for Allied Arts, Chattanooga’s private, nonprofit united arts fund and arts council, the judges called it, “A well integrated campaign with good use of elements beyond traditional media that allowed the audience to become part of the campaign, not just consume it.”

ADDY gold was awarded for everything from Southern Honda outdoor to some very unexpected collateral for the Community Foundation and the Brightbridge Corporation. Brian May, principal and creative director, spoke to the group of over 120 people from the advertising and marketing community after he accepted the award for Best of Show. He thanked the Maycreate team and went on to say that this success was a group effort born of hard work and never settling for second best.
All the work that received gold awards is forwarded to the 7th AdFed District judging in Baton Rouge, LA. If any of the work wins gold in Baton Rouge, it moves on to the National ADDY Awards competition in Washington, D.C.
Logo Lounge Master Library Series
01/20/2010Maycreate has logo work included in LogoLounge Master Library—an impressive collection of more than 3,000 logos from all over the world. We are featured on pages 149 and 176.
The logos for Nextlec, a broadband solutions provider, and Smartech, an internet connectivity provider, appear with a host of equally impressive designs. The publication is part of LogoLounge’s Master Library series, which was created to inform and inspire other talented designers.
Maycreate is grateful for the recognition and congratulates all whose work was selected to appear in this special series.

07/07/2009Our logo design for GreenStreet, a realestate marketing company focusing on environmentally responsible properties made the latest Logo Lounge volume. Chosen from well over 100,000 entries, this is our fourth logo chosen to be a part of the Logo Lounge series.

2009 Telly Award
06/08/2009The Tellys have been honoring the best local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, plus video work created for the Web for 30 years. This year, the Webisodes we shot and produced for the Community Foundation's Web site received a Telly.
District Gold Addy
03/31/2009Over 1,500 national finalists competed in the National ADDY awards. The national jury chair is Rick Carpenter, president, DDB Chicago, who will lead an illustrious panel of judges as they choose winners from across the country. Judging took place on May 8-9 in Washington, D.C

Gold Wilmer Shields Rich Award
03/09/2009The Community Foundation recently won gold at the 2009 Wilmer F. Shields Awards in Atlanta. The awards program, sponsored by the Council on Foundations, recognizes effective communications efforts that increase positive public awareness of foundations and their work.
10 Addy Awards in 2009
02/21/2009Maycreate wins 9 Addys at this year's Chattanooga Ad Fed Awards banquet. The Judges Award was given for the CapitalMark ATM Campaign. Judges recognized the "fresh messaging and approach to an industry not known for it's creativity or visual risks."
