As Agency of Record for Avocet Hospitality Group (Read House owners), we were tasked with rebranding the long-existing hotel restaurant, Porter’s. The rebrand included a new name, logo, menus, website, social media, and ad campaign.
We started by spending hours at the library researching historical photos and news articles about the restaurants located in the hotel over its 100+ years of history. This background gave us great insight into the next iteration of fine dining at the Read House. With research in-hand Bridgeman’s was born.
Bridgeman’s Chophouse is named for a legendary Read House employee. Across the country, those who had heard of the Read House knew of the legendary Peter “Rabbit” Bridgeman. He served and charmed hotel and dining guests for 47 years. His tireless dedication to hospitality, attention to detail, and speed, still serve as an exemplary model for all employees. His service and impeccable reputation are honored in the naming of this very restaurant.
