Maycreate was chosen by the Double Cola Company to re-work their 63-year-old SKI citrus soda brand. We started with our Client involved, Discovery Session to learn more about their ideas and reasons for revamping such an iconic brand. We then moved on to market and audience research as well as gathering feedback from distributors.
Armed with more than enough data, we developed audience personas, which began to direct visual direction. Understanding our audience growth would be targeted to Millennials and Gen Z we knew SKI would need to be more contemporary and visually "postable."
We started by building a products matrix. After all, we had several flavors to consider as well as diet, limited edition, and seasonal packaging needs to deliver. We began with hours of color and typeface exploration as well as logo lockup options before landing on the final solutions presented and approved by the Client.
With new brand ready to go, we moved to media strategy and planning as well as distributor support assets. Going forward deliverables included new vending machines graphics, multi-count packaging, vintage bottle labels and 4-pack carriers, social media posts, photography, advertising campaign (Be YOUthful), distributor truck wraps, in-store displays, and promotional items.
